The DHI-NVR5208-EI is part of Dahua Technology's WizSense series, characterized by its integration of an independent AI chip and deep learning algorithms to prioritize accurate human and vehicle detection. The NVR5000-EI series offers robust performance, making it suitable for IP video surveillance applications. Featuring a potent processor, high access and forwarding bandwidth, and strong decoding capabilities, this NVR ensures smooth streaming. With its built-in AI chip and advanced deep learning algorithms, it supports various AI functions like precise face recognition and perimeter protection, facilitating quick event response and interactive video experiences. This NVR is compatible with third-party devices, making it suitable for surveillance systems working with Video Management Software (VMS).

Key functionalities include AcuPick, an advanced search technology that leverages both front-end and back-end intelligence for accurate target identification in extensive video data. The NVR employs Perimeter Protection to eliminate false alarms due to factors like animals or bright lights, enhancing alarm accuracy. Face Detection utilizes deep learning algorithms to detect, track, optimize, and capture human faces, producing the best face snapshot. The NVR supports various decoding formats including Smart H.265+/H.265/Smart H.264+/H.264/MJPEG, and offers high bandwidth capabilities. This Kit is for new budget constrained projects requiring a larger surveillance footprint and higher resolution cameras or to upgrade old analog surveillance systems.

The kit is useful for basic 24/7 surveillance and produces excellent quality footage. For a neat finish the cables can be placed either in the ceiling void if it is accessible, run in conduits placed against the wall for retrofit projects or inside the wall for new projects.

The DVR automatically recognises the front-camera's signal without assistance from the installer making installation easier. The XVR1A04 accepts up to 2MP IPC input, the XVR1A08 up to 5MP and the XVR1B16 up to 6MP .

1080p resolution recording and playback ability enables the NVR to deliver  standard HDTV 1080p picture quality and image details and H.265 compression standard results in half the space and bandwidth for the same video quality.

To help ensure that no footage is lost, ie during an NVR reboot or power outage, Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) functionality means the NVR will automatically retrieve locally stored footage from the camera's SD card after the network connection is reinstated.

Your system will be able to accurately identify Human and vehicle targets from footage ensuring you get a negligible amount of false alarms or none. The NVRs Deep Learning Algorithms allow the system to function in a variety of ways when used with Normal cameras; 1 channel can be configured for facial recognition prior to which the system can then be configured to send out notifications upon detection of a strange face; Or 2 channels can be setup for perimeter protection allowing for accurate notifications on intrusion of either human beings or vehicles into the protected area; and finally 4 channels can be setup for Smart Motion Detection (SMD) which is orders of magnitude more accurate then traditional motion detection functionality (It ignores moving leaves, flying bugs, rain and flashing lights).
