The Imou "Wired Doorbell" has all the features of its wireless counterpart, the wireless Imou "Doorbell", except for the battery.

It has a 2MP or 1080p camera, a built in microphone and speaker with echo cancellation so you hear and see your visitor directly from your phone clearly during the day, and with excellent night-vision as well.

As a tool for monitoring your doorstep, the Doorbell also does not fail to deliver. The super wide horizontal viewing angle of 140° ensures nothing goes unseen and the Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor ensures that when decide to take advantage of the doorbells ability to alert you of approaches to your door or loiterers you receive nothing but legit alerts . Activity zones can be set so you decide at what distances from the doorbell you would like the doorbell to notify you. If you have an SD card , of which up to 64GB are supported, the door bell will store messages from visitors you missed so you can get back to them.

The door bell requires a cable to provide power, AC16~24V or DC12/24V, but data flow is achieved via 2.4GHz WiFi. So if you have an existing Motor for your gate the power cable does not need to be very long.

Lets us see. Before the "Doorbell" from Imou crossed our path we would probably have made a list that looks like this:

  • See and speak to the visitor.
  • Loud enough so we don't miss any visitors.
  • Excellent quality so it is protected from the elements and lasts a long time.

It turns out we were easily satisfied. The Imou Doorbell does all that, and well, more.

The door bell is completely wireless (2.4GHz WiFi) and is powered by a rechargeable battery which ordinary last up to 5 months but will drain faster if your home is extra popular. Installation is so easy it is a DIY favorite, and to ensure thieves don't run away with your new beloved doorbell, a special screwdriver is required.

The "4-Wire Analog Video Intercom KIT" is our most affordable Intercom Kit. Its an analog surface mount kit and is meant to replace outdated analog doorbells, for new construction projects or retrofit projects. 

The Indoor station has a 7 Inch TFT LCD screen, an omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker for two-way talk and mechanical buttons that allow you to; increase or decrease the volume; start or end a session with a visitor; monitor the area outside your gate or door; silence the monitor to ignore a visitor and close and open the gate or door.

The Outdoor Station has a 2MP/1080p camera, a built in omnidirectional microphone and speaker so you hear and see your visitor clearly on the Indoor monitor during the day, and with excellent night-vision, at night as well. 

The ingress protection (IP) rating of 65 and IK rating of 07 means the Outdoor Station is Dust-tight and that water projected by a nozzle against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects, making the unit more durable, resistant to minor vandalism and suitable for use in a variety of environments.
